Brian Paniagua

Has more than 26 years of experience in the Financial Service industry in the Dominican Republic. His banking career began at the Chase Manhattan Bank in corporate banking. Paniagua later became Executive Vice President of Banco Mercantil, in the Personal Banking department, managing the credit card and branch programs.
For four years, he held the position of CFO in Grupo Financiero León. Paniagua represented the Dominican Republic and Latin America in the International Committee of Rules and Operations of VISA From 1999 to 2002, granting him direct connections and relationships with businessmen.
Since 2008, he has been part of GCS, and CEO of this mobile financial service company. He has led the successful launch of the mobile payment solution, tPago in the Dominican Republic and its incursion in Latin America. Paniagua plays a vital role in the development and execution of ideas and projects. His experience in the bank and financial world, have benefited the evolution of all of GCS’s products.
